Arsonal Unleashed by the Shepherd Moses

The plagues were not to show how great Moses was .... but how great his God is.

Read Exodus Chapter 7 verses 1-19 (insight to purpose)

Exodus 7:20  And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters
that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that
were in the river were turned to blood.

The 3 paintings below are artist conceptions of this event  ............ to the right Egyptian Sculpture of their goddess of the nile 'Hapi'

Read Exodus 7: 21-25  Seven days of blood

(my thoughts on this matter)
The Plagues were not only to force the release of the children of Israel from bondage but

A.   to demonstrate the superiority of YAWEH to all other gods
B.   to introduce YAWEH to all the peoples of the earth by the miracles performed.
C.   to emulate YAWEH's  power and authority over all things.

Exodus 8:24  And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his
